His real name is Bobby Estell and he came into the world on the 2nd of April 1980 when he was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is American by nationality and his ethnicity is white. His mum Pamela Hurt got pregnant with him at age 15 while his dad whose identity has never been revealed was barely 17. His dad disappeared from his life when he was five and consequently, he grew up under the custody of his mum and his grandmother in Mountain Pine, Arkansas.

His early academic details have never been published but it is known that Bobby Bones attended Henderson State University where he graduated from with a degree in Radio/Television.

Later on, he was employed by Q100/KQAR in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2002 but moved over to KLAL radio station and subsequently, he began hosting The Bobby Bones Show on KHFI-FM in Austin, Texas.

The OAP’s name was also linked with that of Rachel Reinert – a musical artist as well as Sharna Burgees from Dancing with the Stars. However, on his rumored relationship with his Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) partner, Sharna Burgess, neither of the two came forward to either confirm or refute the claim and the public is still left in the dark on that score.
