Who Is Goldust WWE And How Old Is He??

His real name is Dustin Patrick Runnels and he was born on the 11th day of April 1969 in Austin, Texas, United States, his birth sign is Aries. Dustin was born to his father Dusty Rhodes who was a former wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer popularly known as “The Dream American.” Sadly, he kicked the bucket in 2015. Runnels has a sister named Kristin Runnels Ditto who is a professional cheerleader with the NFL team Dallas Cowboys.

He also wrestled at All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) and United States Wrestling Association (USWA) before he got signed to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and got his first victory against Ted DiBiase in a televised ten-minute challenge match. By 1990 he got signed to the RAW brand.

He debuted the persona Goldust in WWF 1995 and got nicknamed “the bizarre one” for his flirtatious way of wrestling, mind games of anger with distractions and confusions with which he subtly attacks his opponents. From the time of his debut to the present time, Goldust has fought many other wrestlers, feuding and recording major wins and championship victories at various times.

As earlier stated, Goldust was born to a father who was a wrestler and is half-brother to another wrestler named Cody Rhodes. This gives a yes to the question of whether he is related to Stardust.

In 2013, Stardust was fired from the WWE after losing in a match to . His half-brother Goldust fought Orton in an attempt to have his brother back to the company but he also lost against him and saw himself being fired as well.

Their father Dusty tried to convince the authorities to rehire his sons back to the company but this was not an easy thing to do. The Chief Operating Officer at that time – Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon made an offer to them which involved the half-brothers facing the two members of The Shield, and , at Battleground, and should they lose, they will never work in the WWE ever again and their father will also see his contract as a trainer in the performance center terminated.

This match marked the debut of Goldust and Stardust as a tag team called “The Brotherhood,” “The Rhodes Brothers,” and later “Gold and Stardust.” The brothers fought for their careers and by the end of the match, they emerged victoriously. The two half-brothers continued as a tag team until after 8 months when they were disbanded due to having lost a lot of match as a tag team.
