Regardless of how rosy it might sound that the group was bold enough to pursue a career in comedy, Hein said things were tough for them at one point. He said that at one time, the group performed for a crowd of just two people. They, however, took solace in the fact that they were honing their crafts and didn’t let other things bother them.
After abandoning comedy, Hein graduated from school and then later created JumpTheShark.com, an entertainment and celebrity news website. Hein operated the website until 2006 when he sold it to TV Guide, the bi-weekly television program listings magazine owned by Gemstar Media Company, for a fee of around $1 million.
