From the information available to us, Christine Michelle Metz was born on the 29th of September 1980 in Homestead, Florida to parents Denise and Mark Metz. Her father worked with the United States Navy. Chrissy’s parents separated when she was just 8 years old. She has two siblings from her both parents and two half-siblings from her mother’s marriage to her stepfather. Chrissy Metz attended high school and also community college after which she did her university education at the Florida State University.

Chrissy by profession is an actress and is also into singing. She had her big break in Hollywood with her role in the NBC drama This Is Us. A role for which she also earned a nomination at the Primetime Emmy Awards which was hosted in 2017. Before going into acting, Chrissy worked as a talent agent and also as a daycare teacher at the Community college. Her first audition was not planned; she had accompanied her half-sister (Morgan) to an open casting call and that was how she was convinced by a lady there to audition and she performed very well.
