Becky Lynch of WWE – Biography & Age

Becky Lynch is Irish and was born in Dublin, Ireland on the 30th January 1987 which makes her sun sign Aquarius. Her birth name as we found it is Rebecca Quin and growing up, Becky Lynch (as she would later be famously called) took a liking to various sports activities. She did horse riding, swimming, played basketball and polo as well.

She began training as a wrestler in 2002 under the tutelage of Fergal Devitt and Paul Tracey when they opened a wrestling school in Ireland. At this time Becky Lynch was, training in earnest with her brother Gonzo de Mondo and after 5 months of her training, she began teaming up with him in tag team wrestling matches with the ring name Rebecca Knox.

In the course of advancing her career, Becky wrestled around Europe in promotions like France-based Queens of Chaos and won the title in 2006, German Stampede Wrestling, England’s One Pro Wrestling and also Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling.

Like every other amateur wrestler who aspires to go pro, the big stage was at WWE and for someone as determined as Becky Lynch, nothing stood on her way against being part of the WWE. On 8 April 2013, it became known that she has signed a development deal with WWE which saw her join the NXT division in Florida. In November of the same year, she made her debut with the ring name Becky Lynch, her television debut, however, came the following year in June 2014 in an episode of NXT where she defeated Summer Rae. As the months rolled by, Becky took on a couple feuds fighting and defeating as many as she could. She emerged the inaugural SmackDown Women’s Champion at Backlash in September 2016 and has continued to keep up an impressive performance in the sports ever since.

Injury

Wrestling is one sport where the athletes are prone to injury, Becky Lynch has had her own fair share of this to deal with when she was put out of action in 2016. She, however, didn’t disclose what the nature of the injury was and this has got fans wondering whether it is such that might see her quit the sports abruptly. For now, she is still active as a wrestler and we do hope it continues like that.

Boyfriend

Just like every other social woman, Becky Lynch found love in the eyes and arms of Luke Sanders who is an MMA fighter in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fight Championship (UFC). The two began dating in February 2016.

Luke was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on December 12, 1985, which makes his birth sign Sagittarius. He made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 81: Dillashaw vs. Cruz while he became popular for a comeback submission victory against Maximo Blanco in 2016.

Sadly, sometime in April 2018, Becky Lynch and Luke Sanders gave us reasons to believe they are no longer together for reasons yet to be disclosed. It happened that Becky took to Instagram to delete all pictures of her with him and soon after unfollowed him on the social media platform. She, however, followed him back sometime in May only to unfollow him again for good. Since then, none of the celebrities have commented on the reason for their break up but going by trends in recent times where social media has now become a virtual replica of what goes on in peoples/celebrities lives, one can draw the conclusion that it appears they have parted ways for good.
