For someone who is good both as an actor, composer, producer and director, it would not be out of place to address Jeff Richmond as a creative genius or even a quadruple threat. He is responsible for composing the music for the sitcom 30 Rock, which he also directed some episodes. He has also composed the music for another sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, for which he also served as its executive producer.

Biography (Age)
He was born Jeffrey Wayne Richmond on January 7, 1961, in Garrettsville, Ohio. Richmond graduated from James A. Garfield High School Garrettsville, Ohio, in 1979. His love for the arts didn’t just happen, he had always had a passion which explains why he was one of the founders of the Garrettsville Community Players, where he first began to demonstrate his skill in choreographing, directing and other artistic talents and won the John Philip Sousa award.
After High School, he went to Kent State University for his college education. While at the university, he co-authored quite a number of musicals and even wrote a musical score to William Shakespeare’s Othello.
Career
It is almost impossible to separate Jeff’s life from his career because the two seem to be interwoven. Before he took the job of composing music for the Saturday Night Live series, Richmond had worked at The Second City and the Child’s Touring Theatre. After leaving the Saturday Night Live (SNL), he began composing and producing music for the sitcom 30 Rock and even occasionally appearing as an extra on the show. In 2008, Jeff Richmond composed the soundtrack for the film Baby Mama, in 2010, he directed five episodes of the 30 Rock. He has also appeared in Late Night with playing the character of “Russian Hat Guy”.
And for his outstanding performances, Richmond has won three Emmy awards and a Child’s Play Touring Theatre 2012 Victor Award. In 1998, while he was still with the Second City Theatre he was nominated for a 1998 Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Revue for Promise Keepers, Losers Weepers. The following year (1999), he was nominated for Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Revue for The Revelation Will Not Be Televised. He has also been nominated for an Emmy for composing the theme song for the same sitcom (30 Rock).

Jeff Richmond is married to the creator and star of the comedy sitcom 30 Rock, , and yes the couple is still together. After meeting for the first at Chicago’s Second City and dating for 7 years, Richmond felt it was time to take the relationship to its next level and on vacation on Lake Michigan, he got down on his knees and proposed. According to Richmond, he fell in love with her very quickly, “she really does have a little-girl-from-the-suburbs kind of ambience. She’s a shy person,” he said in an interview.
The lovebirds tied the knot in a Greek Orthodox ceremony on June 3, 2001. They are blessed with two lovely daughters – Alice Zenobia (born on September 10, 2005) and Penelope Athena (born August 10, 2011). The two have mutual respect and love for each other which is quite obvious. They have worked together on a number of projects like the SNL, 30 Rock, and the film Baby Mama where Tina starred alongside Golden Globes co-star
Speaking about what it feels like working with her husband, Tina says they both complement each other nicely because they do not have to stay in the same place all day and that there are days they don’t even get to see each other until the ride home.
