Justice Elio Smith was born in the year 1995 on 9th August, in the city of Angels, Los Angeles, California, the United States. He grew up in a large multi-ethnic family as the fifth of nine children.

Both of his parents are competitive singers, as such, they are somewhat critical to non-professionalism. For instance, Justice remembers when he sang in the presence of his folks as a small boy, his mother was always handy to correct him and teach him how to sing right. His father did not let him off either. Moreover, he competed with his siblings.
While it seemed difficult to show his potential then, he did learn how to sing on the right notes as well as imbibe the skills needed to become a successful singer. Though he did not grow up to become a singer, he was still artistic. Justice Smith was drawn to the world of cinema and theatre from an early age. From a very young age, he was already writing stories and scripts and so it wasn’t surprising that he ended up an actor.
