Paige Dunham – Biography & Age

Born Paige Brown on the 13th of March 1968 in Savannah, Georgia, the United States, she was raised on Florida’s Amelia Island where her family owned and operated a dance studio. Consequently, she grew up dancing in the family-run studio. She later moved with her family to West Palm Beach, Florida when she was in middle school. After high school, Paige majored in business at Clemson University, South Carolina.

Following her graduation, she got married to her first husband but while she was pregnant with her first daughter, their union hit the rocks and culminated in a divorce. With that, she went back to her family in West Palm Beach, where she gave birth to her child, Bree Alecce in August 1991. Her migration turned out to be a blessing in disguise. She met her soon to be future husband, Jeff, then a budding comedian, with whom she built and managed their empire. Following their marriage in 1994, she changed her last name to Dunham.

Career

Paige Dunham utilized fully her business acumen in her second marriage, despite deciding to be a homemaker. She helped Jeff write materials for his performances, helped him to pitch meetings for show ideas, some of which he used in his stage performances and in his DVDs. Paige also worked behind the scenes for his merchandise sales as well as put together newsletters and introduced an online store.

In 1994, she started the database for Jeff’s online fan club which helped him to snag the Best Male Stand Up Comic at the American Comedy Awards in 1997. She did all she could and also imported ideas to ensure that her husband’s comic business not only grows but becomes firmly established in the industry.

As a way to expand the family business, she launched Brahma Publications in 1999 and with the help of a hired illustrator, published the 2003 book Dear Walter… which features a collection of questions asked at live performances by Jeff’s audiences, as well as answers as provided by their fave curmudgeon, Walter. Three years later, Paige Dunham took on another project in line with her vision of the business expansion. This time, she devised a means to give back to society – charity.

Paige Dunham initiated the Jeff and Paige Dunham Foundation in 2006 through which they helped those in need. They do this by taking a portion of the proceeds from Jeff’s stand-up shows across the nation, as well as a full percentage of sales from eBay. Thus, they were able to raise $35,000.00 which they presented to Hurricane Katrina Relief with Ronald McDonald House of Houston in the organization’s first year.

Unfortunately, as the foundation took its sail, their marital boat hit the rock. She now employs the lessons and experiences garnered through her years of marriage, the divorce process and eventual dissolution of her matrimony to now helping other women who are going through a divorce or break-up. Thus, she earned the moniker “marriage whisperer” for advocating for others. When Paige Dunham is not lending her voice to other women, she dedicates her time to other causes that hold her interest such as children’s charities through The Paige Dunham Foundation and teaching parents how to help their children cultivate the act of giving back, a culture she taught her own children.

Moreover, Paige works behind the scene in various movies. She is credited as the executive producer in the feature film, The Face of Love (2013) which stars  and Robin Williams and Last Days in the Desert (2015).
