Who is Marissa Neitling and How Old is She?

She was born on May 8, 1984, in Lake Oswego, Oregon and she was named Marissa Lee Neitling at birth. They also gave her the best education and allowed her to follow her dreams. Marissa finished her studies at Lake Oswego High School in 2002 and her next stop was the University of Oregon. She was in the Honors College at the university and graduated with a double major in Math and Theater Arts. Still hungry for more knowledge, she continued her education at Yale School of Drama where she obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting.

In 2007, the actress made her film debut in a brief appearance in The Go-Getter. The next time she was seen on the screen was in 2011 when she joined the cast of the hit series Leverage. Her part in the series was a guest role as Christina Valada/Lacey Beaumont. Marissa played her only main role so far in The Last Ship where she appeared as Lt. Kara Foster. She was part of the cast of the TNT summer series from 2014 to 2018 and those four years were not wasted but put to good use.

Around the period she spent on The Last Ship, Merissa Neitling was cast to play the role of Phoebe in San Andreas along with . Her role in the 2015 film was guaranteed after sending in an audition tape that was apparently better than the thousands of others that applied for the part. To date, San Andreas and The Last Ship remain her most popular projects and can be linked to the fame she enjoys today. She also played the role of Jennie in Mysterious Ways which is in post-production. Most recently, she was seen in television series Elementary as Nina Hudgins/Skyler and Madam Secretary as Annelies De Runnow. She played guest roles in the two series in 2018.

More appearances are expected from the actress since she still has her years ahead of her and doesn’t seem to have lost her passion for the performing arts. Interestingly, Marissa Neitling is an avid sports fan. When she is not busy on the set of any movie production, you might catch her binging on some Oregon Ducks games.

Marissa Neitling was born to Joy (mother) and Stanley Neitling (father). The occupation of her parents is not known but it’s safe to say they are very supportive parents to their daughter. Asides seeing her through school, they also helped her achieve her dream of being an actress.

Joy and Stanley also gave her a younger sister, Mackenzie Neitling, as well as a brother Adam Dress, who was adopted.

She has, however, been romantically linked to some men including actor Travis Van Winkle but her current relationship status reads that she is in a committed relationship with a guy named Rob Archibald. She is way below average in height, measuring a little less than 5 feet 3 inches, although she once said her height is within the range of 5 feet 4 inches.
