The professional footballer was born at Mount Pleasant in Pittsburg Texas United States of America on the 12th day of November 1989 to Kelvin McCain father and Tameika Wright mother. There is no known information about his childhood and siblings, but the records say the soccer player went to school in his hometown precisely at Pittsburg High School in Texas. During his days at high school, the emerging star was a three-sport standout, active in the games of football, track event, and basketball. He earned All-State honors in the three games. The promising soccer player was excellent in football in his capacity as a cornerback and a quarterback and consequently, an honorable mention was made in his favor by the Association Press. Kendall Wright also got second-team Class 3A All-State honors from the Texas Sports Writers Association.
During his stint as a junior, the young star passed for 850 yards and recorded 26 total touchdowns. When he ascended to senior football, his rushes were totaled at 1,069 yards and passes 1,170 yards and his touchdowns were 24 in all. Kendall was also an All-State performer in the game of basketball where he averaged 5 steals, 24.5 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds per game. His records as a track and field athlete are also admirable, in long jump, the young athlete bagged the 2007 Texas Class 3A state long jump title, with an outstanding leap of 7.37 meters (24-0 3/4). A state meet-record leap of 15.48 meters (50-8 3/4) earned him the 2008 Class 3A gold medal in the triple jump.
From Pittsburg High School, the three sports standout proceeded to Baylor University and during his freshman year in 2008, Kendall Wright participated in all 12 games and subsequently led his team in receptions with 50 receiving yards and five touchdowns and 649 yards. The young star also pulled weight as a basketballer in Baylor where he participated in 13 games. He functioned as the team’s leading receiver with 66 receptions for 740 yards and five touchdowns during his sophomore year in 2009 and bagged an All-Big 12 honorable mention.
In his junior season in 2010, he recorded 78 receptions for 952 yards and seven touchdowns which earned him second-team All-Big 12 selection. He participated in all 13 games during his senior season and recorded a total reception of 108 for 1,633 yards with 14 touchdowns, as a result, he bagged 1st Team All-American and All-Big 12.
His professional career started when he was picked by Tennessee Titans during the foremost 2012 NFL Draft as the 20th overall. The professional soccer player stayed with the Titans till the end of 2016 when he declared that he was not going to remain with the team for the 2017 seasons and on the 11th day of March 2017, he signed a contract of $4 million with the Chicago Bears for a period of one year. At the expiration of his one year contract with the Bears, Kendall moved over to the Minnesota Vikings on the 30th day of March 2018.
