British actor, Alex Lawther continues to establish himself as a reputable name in the British film industry while also spreading his tentacles into America’s Hollywood. The talented actor began his career on stage before making his way to the screen. The actor was born Alexander Jonathan Lawther on the 4th of May 1995. He was born and raised in Petersfield, a market town in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. As a young child, he often had to create his own games and keep himself entertained and this sparked his interest in acting.

His older brother Michael Cameron Lawther is an award-winning movie producer. The brothers worked together in the short film The Fear (2010). He also has an older sister, Ellie Lawther.
