A creation of Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, Princess Koriand’r, whose Superhero name is Starfire, is a superheroine from DC comic books. Starfire made her first appearance in October 1980 in the DC Comics Presents #26 series. She appeared in several television series and films, most of which are animations until her first live adaptation in Titans, a DC universe web series. Jennifer Hale: Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Canadian-American voice actress, Jennifer Hale is credited for voicing Starfire in the widely acclaimed superhero animation Superman/Batman: Public Enemies even though she did not speak in it, the closest she came to speaking were the sounds she made when she was punched by Superman.
Hale was born as Carren Learning on 1st January 1965 in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada but she grew up in Alabama, United States. She attended Alabama School of Fine Arts and Birmingham-Southern College, Alabama. Hale started doing voice-over when she was in high school but her career did not officially start until she featured in her breakthrough movie, A Father’s Homecoming in 1988.
Apart from playing Starfire in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Hale has featured in several other animations including Mass Effects 1-3, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Ralph breaks the Internet (2018).
Hale got married to her husband, Barry Oswick in 2009 and they have one son. She lives with her family in Los Angeles, California.
Hynden Walch: Teen Titans
Heidi Hynden Walch, an American singer, writer, actress and voice actress from Davenport, Iowa was born on February 1, 1971. She started professional stage acting when she was 11 and attended UNC School of the Arts, North Carolina on scholarship.
She is best known for featuring as Starfire in the following films: Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo (2006), Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Gotham City Breakout, DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year (2016), DC Super Hero Girls: Intergalactic Games (2017), Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, DC Super Hero Girls: Legends of Atlantis (2018), Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans (2019) as well as TV series Teen Titans (2003 – 2006), New Teen Titans (2011 – 12), Teen Titans Go! (Since 2013), and DC Super Hero Girls (2015 – 18).
Walch is also known for her voice roles in the series ChalkZone, and Adventure Time, and video game Kid Icarus: Uprising among several others.
She married her husband, Sean McDermot in 1999 and they have been together ever since. Sean, like his wife, is also in the acting business and is known for his role in the 2015 film, New York Love Story.
Kari Wahlgren: DC Animated Movie Universe
Kari Wahlgren was born in Hoisington, Kansas on July 13, 1977. She studied theatre at the University of Kansas and graduated in 1999. In 2002, Wahlgren who was inspired by Disney Princesses as a child started her career as Haruko Haruhara in the anime series, FLCL.
She has since voiced several animations including the DC Animated Movie Universe films – Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016) and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (2017), where she played Starfire.
Wahlgren is not married and details of her romantic relationships, if any, are not known.
Anna Diop – Titans
African-American actress, Anna Diop was born in Dakar, Senegal on February 6, 1988, and moved to the United States when she was 6. Her acting career started actively in 2006 when she made her TV debut on the comedy show, Everybody hates Chris.
Besides starring in the web series, Titan, as Starfire, Diop has also gathered credits in films and other series including The Messengers (2015), Greenleaf (2016), 24: Legacy (2017), and Us (2019).
Up till this moment, Diop has kept her love life private and whether or not she is in a romantic relationship remains unknown.
