Perhaps her dedication to leaving a legacy about her relationship with people rather than the box office is a result of her Christian background, we cannot say, but one would not be amiss to say getting raised by a Christian family, especially with your father a pastor had some impact in her guiding morality. AnnaLynne was born to David and Shari McCord on the 16th of July 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is one of the three daughters born into the family and was raised in Buford, Georgia along with her sisters, Angel, and Rachel McCord in a trailer park, a result of the modest resources the family possessed.

AnnaLynne started her education being homeschooled before she went off to high school and eventually graduated at the age of 15. The natural step after high school is college, but for young AnnaLynne, while her peers headed up to various colleges around the country, she headed to Wilhelmina Modeling Agency and worked for several brands among which were Estee Lauder and Seventeen. After three years as a model, Annalynne Mccord debuted in her first film role as a named character in Natale a Miami, an Italian film in 2005. In the same year, she appeared as an unnamed character in Transporter 2.

She continued to star in various films, such as Day of the Dead in 2008, Fired Up in 2009, Excision in 2012, which she received critical acclaim for, portraying a disturbed and delusional teenager. The show won her the award for Best Actress at the Malaga International Week of Fantastic Cinema and at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards in 2013 where she came second place.
