Robb was born on December 8, 1993, in Denver to an interior designer, Janet and an architect David Robb. She is of Danish, English, Irish, Scottish, and Swedish descent and was named after her maternal great-grandmother and paternal grandmother whose names were Anna Sophie, and Anna Marie respectively.

AnnaSophia was raised in a Christian home and was home-schooled, however, in 2009, Arapahoe Herald reported she was attending Arapahoe High School Centennial, Colorado from where she eventually graduated in 2012. In the same year, she announced that she has been admitted to Stanford University but that she was deferring acceptance due to filming commitments.
