Her birthday is recorded as April 10, 1996, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, but she grew up in Granger, Indiana. Her family moved again when she was 8, this time, it was to Chicago and when she turned 13, she moved to Los Angeles to give her career a better chance. There are no details of the names of the schools she attended but it is clear she went to one or two formal schools. She participated in school plays and joined choirs. Growing up, Audrey Whitby would watch comedy sketches and improv shows. Her obsession with MadTV and SNL turned into an inspiration to pursue a career on the screen.

Having established herself as a talent to reckon with in the comedy genre, Audrey grabbed several projects in 2012. She was a guest star on the comedy series Austin & Ally followed by Dog with a Blog. She also played the role of Hannah in the short film Scared Sweet and wrapped the year up with another guest appearance in Bad Fairy as Nic DiRizzo. Her big break can be attributed to her part on AwesomnessTV. The sketch comedy show gave her the platform to play different roles and also broadened her knowledge of acting and performance and the same year, she started her role as Cherry in The Thundermans to critical acclaim. She scored two acting projects in 2014. The first came in a comedy TV film titled Terry the Tomboy, based on a character from AwesomnessTV. Audrey portrayed the character of Britannica in Terry the Tomboy and later moved on to a short comedy film titled Pro Wrestling Family, playing The Amazing Mia.

From 2015 to 2016, she was seen on the comedy series Liv and Maddie, appearing in four episodes as Aubrey Banfield. She also appeared in two more TV projects – Accidental Switch as Katey Williams and Paradise Run as herself. Audrey has one known sibling, a sister named Madeline Whitby.
