She was born to the famous Hollywood superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme and his wife Gladys Portugues. Bianca spent her early years in California where she completed her basic education. When she was very young, she often joined her parents at the gym and that inspired her to pick interest in different sports including boxing and karate as well as ballet and figure skating. At the time, Bianca had a dream of participating in the Olympics someday. As of 2002, the youngster had started winning various figure skating competitions.

Her family later moved over to Vancouver City of Canada where she completed her high school education. While she was there, Bianca continued skating with the Canadian Olympic team.
