Big Cass of WWE Biography (Age) 

William Morisey was born in Glendale, Queens, New York City on August 16, 1986. He attended Archbishop Molloy High School where he played basketball in his senior, featuring in the Catholic High School Athletic Association Senior Classic All-Star game.

In his final year at New York University, he co-captained the school’s basketball team. For post-university education, William enrolled at a professional wrestling school in New York City established by retired professional wrestler Johnny Rodz. He also made his wrestling debut in Rod’z World of Unpredictable Wrestling (WUV) on May 30, 2009 – he debuted under the name Big Bill Young.

Moving on, William signed to the WWE’s developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling in June 2011 using the ring name Colin Cassady. His time at the FCW was a period to forget as he recorded a stretched out losing streak, only gathering a handful of wins towards the end of his first year.

Following the rebranding of the promotion as NXT, Cassady teamed up with his longtime friend Enzo Amore, branding themselves as “the realest guys in the room”. They had well-documented feuds with the likes of Mason Ryan, , Scott Dawson, and Sylvester Lefort. Enzo and Cassady continued to vie for the NXT Tag Team Championship but were unsuccessful on many occasions to other tag teams.

Career Attainments and Injury

In 2016, Amore and Cassady finally got their debut as main roster wrestlers on Raw. They defeated The Ascension (Conor O’Brian and Rick Victor) on their way to the becoming the top contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship. However, they failed to be victorious against the Vaudevillians after Enzo sustained a legitimate concussion.

In the same month, the Queen’s wrestler changed his in-ring name to Big Cass as he and his tag team partner continued to fight for the tag team championship against the likes of The New Day, and . They also had a brief alliance with  before they were officially drafted to the Raw brand at the 2016 WWE draft. Here, he recorded a huge victory, albeit a non-title match against then-United States Champion Rusev which led to a feud between the fighter, Big Cass, and Enzo.

In order to pursue his singles career, a storyline revelation emerged that Big Cass was the mastermind behind an attack that Enzo had suffered earlier in their partnership. Cass admitted to this and attacked Enzo, thus ending their partnership.

After a few face-offs with his former partner and a feud with the , Big Cass suffered a legitimate torn anterior cruciate ligament that kept him out of competition for eight months.

Cass returned looking more fit and tanned. He was drafted by SmackDown at the 2018 Superstar Shake-up. Here, he aligned with against the likes of and . Sadly, he was released from his WWE contract after a June 19, 2018 loss to Bryan.

Big Cass’ Relationships

The wrestler’s dating profile, as far as everyone knows only has one name on it – . Big Cass and Carmella started dating in 2014 during his time at NXT. She had made her wrestling debut by forming a storyline alliance with Big Cass and Enzo Amore.

The couple has had a rough time too. They first split up after Cass and Enzo made it into WWE’s main roster and Carmella was left behind at NXT. However, after she was drafted to SmackDown, the couple worked around their hectic schedules and found a way to make it work.

 

But then, in January 2018, Carmella deleted all references to Big Cass on her Instagram and even unfollowed him sparking rumors about them putting an end to their romance. She eventually confirmed this on an episode of the reality series Total Divas.

1. The wrestler stands at a skyscraping 7 feet (2.13 m) and weighs 130 kg (287 lbs).

2. Cass has shown a knack for education, business, and charity in his past. In high school, he was a member of the National Honour Society while serving as a peer tutor and volunteer to homeless shelters. Post-University education, the wrestler started a ticket brokerage firm.

3. Big Cass and Enzo Amore’s acquaintance started long before their time at NXT. The pair played basketball together in Manhattan when they were 15 years old.

4. Cass’ release from the WWE stemmed mainly from a breakdown in the relationship between him and the promotion’s management. The termination also included a clause that keeps him from competing for any other promotion for three months.
