Biography (Age)

Born in Illinois on March 23, 1986, at a place called Paris, Brett is son to Robin Beth and Christopher Eldredge and he belongs to the White ethnicity and holds an American nationality. Listening to music by great artists like Ray Charles, popularly known as “The Genius”; Rank Sinatra, and Bobby Darin, Brett, from his young age became more fascinated by country music and by age 16, he was already a popular demand in local functions. He also drew his inspiration from his cousin, Terry Eldredge, who is a member of The Grascals – a bluegrass band from Nashville, Tennessee. He even had to transfer his education from Elmhurst College in Chicago to Tennessee State University just to stay close to his singer cousin and to nurture his interest in music.

While at the University, Brett began creating his own music, writing and performing at songwriter nights in the Nashville area until he was eventually introduced to Byron Gallimore, a record producer and country music singer who encouraged him to continue writing songs and even signed him to his publishing company.

From there, he was signed to ‘Atlantic Records’ after which he released his debut single Raymond in September 2010. The music which tells a touching story about a nursing home employee mistaken by a patient with Alzheimer’s for her deceased son, who was killed at war, was a good start to bringing his dream into reality. The music single trended for quite a long time, earning respectable radio play until the release of the next single, It Ain’t Gotta Be Love, in 2011, followed by Don’t Ya in 2012 which like his debut single was quite genuine, selling over one million units shortly after it’s release. Not only did his 2012 singles place him on #5 on US Hot Country Song chart, it also got him to the place of #1 on the US Country Airplay Chart, and #3 on Canadian Country Chart. His debut album Bring You Back was, however, released on August 6, 2013.

Brett’s subsequent singles such as Mean to Me, released in 2014  and his second album Illinois released in 2015, further helped his rise to stardom and today, the young music artist has about $5 million in net worth. It was also on the wings of his fame that he was able to create his official YouTube page called Couch Sessions where he posts lots of his performances. He even became a part of the opening acts on Taylor Swift’s Red Tour.
