The Canadian born actress is the daughter of Richard Le Born and Brigette Paquette, born on the 4th day of September 1986 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is not on record if her parents were ever married, hence, there are no much details about her biological father but she was raised her mom and stepdad Frank Schorpion. Amazingly, she inherited her acting traits from her mother and stepdad who were both actors.

She studied Visual Arts after which she went into modeling; she spent the next three years in Canada before moving over to Tokyo, New York City and eventually settled in Paris in 2010. Although she was doing well as a model, Charlotte Le Bon, however, mentioned in an interview that she spent eight years of her life modeling even though that it’s not the career of her dreams. She modeled for top French brands such as Si Lolita, Carte Noire, and Garnier Fructis.

Career Achievements

After spending almost a decade doing what she didn’t enjoy, Le Bon decided to return to her first love which is acting. But before she landed her first acting role in 2012 in French comedy Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia, she was cast as “Miss Meteo” on Le Grand Journal (news and Pop culture-based talk show on French Television channel Canal+) as a daily weather reporter.

After a successful first season with the network, they wanted her for a second season but then she declined and rather opted for a movie career. In 2012, she made her first appearance in the comedy Astrix and Obelix: God Save Britannia playing Ophelia. She appeared in two more movies the following year – Mood Indigo and The Marchers. In 2014 she starred as Yves Saint Laurent’s muse, Victoire Doutreleau in the biographical film Yves Saint Laurent which earned her, her first career nomination.

It was in the 2014 movie, The Hundred-Foot Journey that she featured in her first English-language film, playing a chef-in-training at an upscale French restaurant alongside . In 2015, she provided a voice for the character of Joy in both the French and Quebec French dubs of the Pixar film Inside Out.

Charlotte Le Bon’s most successful year in her acting career came in 2016 where she appeared in six films. She starred in a wartime love story movie, The Promise alongside and . She also featured in the Sci-fi film Realive, the World War II film Anthropoid and also the action movie Bastille Day which also starred . In the same year, she starred in two French films Article Heart and Iris.

In 2018, she directed her first movie (short film) Judith Hotel, a movie which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. As a trained Visual artist, she began working for Spank, an online magazine founded by her on-air colleague at Canal+ Raphael Cioffi who hired her to do drawings for certain particles.

She earned her first award nominee in the 2015 Cesár Awards for the best-supporting role category but lost the award to American actress, Kristen Stewart who became the first American actress to win the award since its inception in 1976.
