Since the murder of her son in 2018, Cleopatra Bernard has been making the headlines for different reasons. The sudden death of the young talented hip-hop artist rocked the entertainment industry as nobody saw it coming. Following his death, several issues came to light, mostly about the reasons he was killed and the paternity of his newborn child whom he didn’t have the honor of meeting. In the middle of these controversies is Cleopatra Bernard but in any case, she has remained strong, handling each matter with much grace.

Cleopatra Bernard’s Bio

She was born on February 15, 1980, in the United States of America. Of African-American origin, not much is known about Cleopatra’s family background at the moment but they are originally from Jamaica and suffered a lot of financial crisis. It is also not clear if she got the opportunity to graduate from high school and college. However, it appears she had her son Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy – better known as XXXTentacion when she was in her teens which makes it hard to determine if she dropped out of school to raise him. Also, XXXtentacion was mostly raised by his grandmother – Collette Jones, who stepped in when financial woes hindered Cleopatra from taking proper care of her own child.

To date, there is no specific career that has been linked to Cleopatra Bernard but that is not to say she is still struggling with her finances, many thanks to the legacy her son left behind. Before her son passed, Cleopatra often mingled with players on the rap scene. She was present at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards with several hip-hop stars in attendance.

Cleopatra Bernard’s Net Worth

At the time of his death, it was revealed that her late son asserted in his will that Cleopatra and Aiden (his brother) will be the only beneficiaries of his estate, leaving out his son who was yet to be conceived at the time of writing the will.

The late rapper left a massive estate behind after his life was suddenly cut short. In addition to the net worth of $5 million he garnered while he was still alive, XXXtentacion also left behind a huge cache of unreleased music which his family can also cash in on.

Personal Life of XXXTentacion’s Mother

Cleopatra Bernard suffered a lot of assault in her personal life and her six-year-old son had to intervene during one of the time a man was attacking her.

It is on record that she was married to Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy but the specifics are not known. Their marriage produced two sons – Jahsen Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, professionally known as XXXTentacion, who expanded their family circle with his arrival on January 23, 1998, and his brother Aiden, born on an unspecified date. Sadly, the family didn’t stay together for long as both parents soon went their separate ways and Cleopatra had to raise her kids with the help of her mother. Her marriage to Onfroy also made her a step-mother to Ariana Onfroy, a daughter he had from his other relationship.

Cleopatra is rumored to be dating American rapper but that’s just a wild claim.

It emerged in December 2018, a few months after XXXTentacion’s death, that Cleopatra was embroiled in a legal battle with his half-sister. The late rapper’s mother had filed a defamation lawsuit against Ariana, demanding a $15,000 payment for her participation in an interview which suggests that the murder of the rap star was planned.

In 2019, Cleopatra started hogging the headlines once more for her mini-war with Jenesis Sanchez, the woman who was pregnant with her grandson at the time of her son’s death. Shortly after XXXTentacion’s death, Cleopatra had announced that his legacy will be carried on as his girlfriend was pregnant with his child. The rapper’s son, Gekyume Onfroy, was born on January 26, 2019, just three days after his late father’s birthday.

Amid several rumors and doubt about the real father of her son, Sanchez asked to run a DNA test to set the records straight. This request landed Cleopatra in court once again. She filed for Sanchez’s petition to get her late son’s DNA to be dismissed. For reasons best known to her, she doesn’t want the test to push through.
