Colin Andrew Firth’s life began on September 10, 1960 when he was born in Grayshott, Hampshire. The actor traveled the world as a kid. By the time he was 11, Colin had lived in three different countries on three continents. Owing to his parents’ work, he spent part of his childhood in Nigeria and the United States, before finally returning to the UK.

Upon his return, Firth enrolled at Montgomery of Alamein Secondary School for his secondary education. His experience at the institution was not a pleasant one. He suffered constant bullying and found it hard to fit in anywhere. He finally lost interest in his studies due to this experience. Growing up also, he loved the acting profession.
