Since her days as a child actress, Debby Ryan has proven that she has the talent and ‘chops’ to make it in the industry. The American actress and musician has been in the industry since 2006, and in that time, Debby has certainly made a name for herself. When she was only seven years old, she began her career by appearing in professional plays. She later appeared in the Barney & Friends straight-to-DVD film Barney: Let’s Go to the Firehouse. Shortly after, she was discovered by Disney in a nationwide search.

Debby Ryan is known for her appearance in the 2008 feature film, The Longshots which starred and Keke Palmer. She later appeared on the well known Disney series The Suite Life On Deck, as Bailey Pickett – a teenage girl from Kansas who is not only very intelligent but also described as the perfect girl-next-door.

She also starred in the Disney channel film 16 Wishes, which was responsible for introducing Debby Ryan to a new audience seeing as the movie had a high number of viewers on the day of its premiere. She later appeared, opposite Kevin Sorbo and Kristy Swanson, in the independent theatrical film, What If…

Debby later landed another role on Disney Channel as the titular character in the hit series Jessie. The series depicts her character as an aspiring actress from a small town who relocates to New York to pursue her dreams as an actress but accepts a job as a nanny to a wealthy family to tide her over till her acting career takes off.

Debby Ryan also expanded her résumé to include director when she directed an episode of the show in 2015. She later starred in Radio Rebel, another Disney Channel original movie – again, playing the titular character.

In 2013, she formed The Never Ending, an indie rock band. In 2015, the band performed as the opening act for Fifth Harmony’s North American tour.

She grew up all over Europe because her father was in the military, so she lived in the different places he was stationed to. She lived in Germany until ten and as a result, she can speak both German and English. When she started performing at the age of seven, it was at the American base in Germany. After she returned to the United States, she was primarily raised in Texas.

Debby was also previously in a relationship with the American actor, Lucas Till, who is best known for his role in the CBS reboot of the 1985 classic series MacGyver. From 2009 to 2010, she also dated Disney Channel alum – Gregg Sulkin, who appeared on Wizards of Waverly Place. Her other previous relationships include Jason Dolley and Sean Marquette.

For a time, she was rumoured to be dating the actor, , but this was never confirmed.
