Desi Lydic was born Lani Desmonet Lydic on June 30, 1981, in Summit, New Jersey, US. However, she grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She studied at the Young Actors Institute at the Youth Performing Arts School in Kentucky. The actress also studied and performed at prestigious theatre schools The Groundlings and Improv Olympic.
