Elle Fanning was born on the 9th of April 1989 in Conyers, Georgia, U.S. to Heather Joy and her husband Steven J. Fanning. Her parents were athletes; her mom Joy played tennis professionally while Steven her dad was a minor league baseballer – he however now works as a salesman in Los Angeles with a specialty in electronics.
For school, Elle was pretty much homeschooled until after her 3rd grade. The actress began regular schooling in 4th grade at Campbell Hall located in Studio City neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles, California, United States. She recalls feeling weird on her first day at school being that she hadn’t been in the midst of many young people of her age then.
