She is popularly known for her role as ‘Amber’ in the famous Disney Channel hit TV series Andi Mack. Her dream of becoming a screen star actually started from a very tender age. Emily Skinner was born with the birth-name Emily Noelle Skinner on the 30th day of November 2002, in Mission Viejo, California, U.S.A. Her father is Steve Skinner and her mother’s name is Jennifer Skinner. She was brought up in Trabuco Canyon, Orange County, California, alongside her one and only older sister Lauren. Reports revealed that the two sisters attended a dancing class at Dance Dynamics. She is American by nationality and belongs to the white ethnic group.

She attended Wood High School, Vacaville, California, where she played volleyball for the school team and graduated in 2010. Her journey into the world of acting started at an early stage when she fell in love with watching TV. It was from there that she formed an immediate attraction and developed a love for acting. As a child, she was very shy and when her parents noticed that she had developed a flair for acting, they put her in an acting class to help eliminate the shyness.

While in the acting class, her teacher discovered that her talent was rare and decided to link her up with a Hollywood agent. Consequently, she got the opportunity to feature on the silver screen.

In 2009, she began acting professionally at the age of 8. She first featured in an episode of CBS’s Numb3rs which she described as dynamic. After her first appearance on TV, she went on to feature as a regular guest in TV series and short films such as The Swimming Lesson (2009), Days of our Lives (2011), Man Up (2012) and The Mindy Project, just but to mention a few.

What ushered Emily into fame and glamour in the movie industry was the role she played as Amber in the famous Disney Channel’s series Andi Mack (2017-2019). Prior to landing the role, she played the character of a young vampire in the 2014 movie Blood Ransom and the 2016 TV series Rizzoli & Isles. Although she was very young at the time, she was able to portray those roles comfortably.

In 2018, she played the role of Diana in the ‘Brat’ web series, titled Total Eclipse (2018-2019). She is currently working on a new project Next Level, where she is billed to portray the character of Cindy Stallings.
