The actor was born as Enrique Ricardo Murciano Jr. on the 9th day of July 1973 and his birth took place in Miami Florida. He is the son of Enrique Murciano Sr. and his wife Christina Murciano. His nationality is American while he possesses a Cuban ancestry. Growing up, Enrique spent his childhood days in Miami where he schooled at Christopher Columbus High School. While in high school, he was a part of the school’s entertainment group and he featured in various dramas and plays organized by the group.

Soon after his graduation, he enrolled at Tulane University situated in New Orleans, Louisiana. After acquiring his bachelor’s degree, Enrique decided to pursue a career in law and went on to attend New England School of Law in Boston. Upon realization that he has a flair for acting, he opted out of his law programme and moved to Los Angeles where he eventually kicked off his acting career.

The American movie star has appeared in a handful of blockbuster movies as well as reality television shows. He made his first film appearance in the 1997 action movie, Speed 2: Cruise Control where he portrayed the character of Alejandro. Two years later, he made his Television debut playing guest roles in the 1999 TV series, Suddenly Susan and The Pretender. In the year 2000, he starred as a DA Agent in Steven Soderbergh’s crime drama film, Traffic.

Enrique Murciano got his breakthrough in 2002 when he joined the cast of the popular CBS series, Without a Trace. He landed the casting role after he met Jerry Bruckheimer, the director of the series, during the filming of the war thriller Black Hawk Down in 2001. He played the recurring role of Danny Taylor, an FBI agent in the series from 2002 until it ended in 2009. His remarkable performance in the series fetched him two ALMA Award nominations in 2008 and 2009 respectively.

The highlight of his other movies includes Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005), Mancora (2008), How to Go Out on a Date in Queens (2009), Water & Power (2013), Collateral Beauty (2016), and Rough Night (2017).
