Born on the 6th day of January 1984, Eric Trump has scaled the heights of success as a businessman definitely following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and great-grandmother. But beyond that, he is also a philanthropist and former tv personality. Despite popular opinion, Eric did not have the dreamy childhood, his parents Donald Trump and Ivana Trump got divorced when he was just eight years old. He ended up spending a lot of time with his maternal grandparents who did their best in bringing up aright, teaching him how to hunt and fish.

Eric Trump attended The Hill School and proceeded to Washington DC’s Georgetown University to study finance and management. He graduated with honors and finally went into the family business full time having already been involved from his younger days when he used to accompany his father Donald to job sites where he witnesses how negotiations are made. He also worked mowing lawns and doing any handy job required of him at such a young age as his father is a firm believer in hard work.

Career

After his father Donald Trump got elected as president of the United States, the burden fell on Eric and his brother Donald Trump Jr to hold up the forte of the empire until the end of their father’s tenure as president. He currently works as one of the Trustees of the Trump Organisation. For his charity and philanthropic works, he established the Eric Trump Foundation in 2007 with the major aim of raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Tennessee.

The foundation did well in raising and donating funds such that by 2016, it was reported that they had donated well over $16.3 million dollars to the hospital. But trouble came calling when Forbes alleged that the foundation had diverted money which is supposed to go to cancer patients to the Trump family business. Eric Trump soon came up to deny the allegations stating that he is ready to cooperate with the law should there be an official review of the matter. By 2017, the New York State Attorney General’s Office reported that an inquiry has begun on the matter which is ongoing till date.

Eric Trump’s Wife And Children

Eric Trump found love in the arms of his long-term girlfriend, American television host, producer and campaign advisor . She was born on October 12, 1982, and studied at the North Carolina State University after which she took it a notch higher by going to the French Culinary Institute in New York to better brush herself up. Her career profile has seen her work with TV newsmagazine Inside Edition as a story coordinator and a producer from 2012 – 2016. Lara Lea was very instrumental in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign as an online producer and fundraiser.

The two officially got engaged in 2013 and followed it up with a wedding which held at a club in Palm Beach, Florida. The union is blessed with a son who they welcomed in 2017.

The kind of family Eric Trump comes from is one that would have left a lot of young people spoilt and wasting, but Eric Trump is not just any young man.

Ivana Trump is the mother of Eric Trump and the first wife of billionaire businessman Donald Trump. Born February 20, 1949, she is a former Czech model turned businesswoman. Ivana met Donald as a young model looking to make her way up the ladder as fast as possible in 1976. The two hit it off and soon started dating. By 1977 which was just a year after they met, they took the relationship to the next level and got married in a high-class society wedding which was described as one of the most lavish at the time.

The union was blessed with three children; Donald Trump Jr. being the first, to be followed by the beautiful with Eric being the third child and second son of the couple. However, his parents’ marriage was not to last as it soon crumbled under the weight of an affair his father had with actress Marla Maples in 1992.

Height And Weight

Eric Trump may not be the tallest person in the room, but he sure comes close. You have to admit the Trump family are certainly not lacking when it comes to height. He stands tall at a height of 1.96 m. His weight is still not public information.
