Her Biography

Leslie Louise Bibb was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on the 17th of November, 1944. She was raised by a single mother after her father passed away at the age of three. She grew up with three older sisters named – Kim, Bev and Trish.

Her family then moved to Richmond Virginia where she attended Saint Gertrude High School. She got her start in modelling when she won a nationwide competition in 1990. After finishing her junior year, she travelled to New York to sign a modelling contract with Elite Agency. During that summer, Leslie Bibb modelled for Elite and travelled to Japan. Her pictures were found in famous magazines like Maxim and FHM.

She came back home and finished her senior year in 1992. After high school, Leslie Bibb didn’t immediately go back to modelling. She had gained admission into the University of Virginia and decided to pursue it, but after one semester, she left and travelled to New York to focus on modelling as a career.

She then signed up at the William Esper acting studio for a three-year program but took several months off to go to Europe to model. She got her film debut in the comedy Private Parts – starring in 1997. After her big screen debut, Leslie Bibb landed a role in TV series Big Easy.

Her big break came in 1999 when she appeared as the lead character on the TV series Popular, for which she won a Teen Choice Award and was nominated for a Young Hollywood Award.

The show led her to more recognizable films and TV shows such as The Skull, See Spot Run, ER, Line of Fire, Crossing Jordan, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Atlanta, Sex and Death 101.
