There are quite a number of celebrities that got married more than four times in the past, just as there are other celebrities who have never been married. While some of them simply don’t believe in the institution of marriage, others have different and uncommon reasons why they prefer to remain and if possible, die without getting married.

Still, among the celebrities that have refused to get married, there are those who have lived with their partners for a very long time and even have children, but the idea of tying the knot doesn’t just appeal to them.

1. Oprah Winfrey

is probably one of the most famous among celebrities who have never married. The interesting thing, however, is that she has been with her partner, Stedman Graham, longer than many other celebrities who have been married have stuck with their spouses.

Oprah and Graham have been dating since 1986 and then in 1992, they got engaged. Not too long afterward, they decided that the marriage thing was not for them and so they just remain as partners.

Many would be surprised to find Al Pacino on our list of celebrities that never got married. The Academy-winning actor, has dated some of the biggest stars of Hollywood, but the Godfather actor has not had any reason enough to make him want to get married.
