Floriana Lima was born on the 28th of March, 1981, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the United States. She was raised by her parents whose names and details are not presently available to the media. In her teens, Floriana Lima studied at Fairfield Senior High School, and in a bid to further her education, the actress attended the Ohio State University, a large public research university situated in Columbus, Ohio. In 2008, Floriana featured as a guest star in various TV shows such as Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as Franny, How I Met Your Mother as Haley, among others. She was later offered the role of Elizabeth in the sex comedy and politically incorrect web drama Poor Paul, which aired from 2008 to 2009.

In 2009, she landed roles in several projects including Ghost Whisperer and Melrose Place, as her star began to rise. In the following year, she landed the role of Amanda in the TV film Kings by Night. She also appeared in an episode of House M.D as Gabriella, In Plain Sight as Robin Cusato and Glory Daze as Maya. In 2011, she appeared in The Nine Lives of Chloe King as Lilah Montiero and Franklin & Bash as Amelia.

In 2012, she became one of the main characters in the popular Fox series, The Mob Doctor as Nurse Rosa Quintero. She starred opposite Jordana Spiro, Zach Gilford, Željko Ivanek and more notable names in the entertainment industry. She then appeared in an episode of Hawaii Five-O as Allison Hutchins that same year.

She also appeared in an episode of the CBS’s procedural crime television drama – CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and in Psych as a character named Love.

She was later cast in a supporting role in NBC’s action series Allegiance as Michelle Prado in 2015. Floriana Lima then landed one of the lead roles in ABC’s drama The Family as Bridey Cruz in 2016 and got an offer to play the character of Miranda Riggs in the Fox procedural series, Lethal Weapon that same year.

Floriana Lima was announced to be joining the second season of The Punisher on February 26, 2018. She portrayed one of the main characters – Krista Dumont – in the Netflix TV show.
