G Hannelius stepped into Hollywood as a kid and thanks to Disney, she became a star shortly afterward. Her first main TV role came in 2009’s Surviving Suburbia. G was born Genevieve Knight Hannelius on the 22nd of December 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts to Paul and Kathy Hannelius. She has a younger sister named Michelle. From her father’s side, Hannelius has Swedish roots. When she turned three years old, her family relocated to Falmouth, Maine where G would come to spend the rest of her childhood.

At Maine, G Hannelius developed a passion for acting and began gaining experience with the Children’s Theatre of Maine. She appeared in a handful of plays including Rescue in summer, and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. In 2008, the starlet spent three months in Los Angeles, California auditioning for roles. Despite the 2008 Writers Guild Strike that was on at the time, G Hannelius was very successful at auditions. Her parents would decide to relocate to LA to better their daughter’s chances at a Hollywood career.

In LA, Hannelius further honed her acting skills training at Young Actor’s Studio and by 2009 her professional acting career had officially kicked off. Her first acting job came in a commercial for Aquarium of the Pacific. Up next came a series regular role in the sitcom Surviving Suburbia which also starred Bob Saget.

G Hannelius then became a Disney staple after a Disney executive discovered her “Aquarium of the Pacific” commercial. Between 2009 and 2015, she would come to appear in a number of Disney productions including, Sonny with a Chance, Good Luck Charlie, Hannah Montana, Den Brother and more. She has voiced Rosebud in three animation films of the Disney Buddies franchise.

Her biggest hit with Disney would come to be the series, Dog with a Blog which aired from October 2012 to September 2015. Hannelius is a graduate of Sierra Canyon High School with the class of 2017.

G Hannelius began transitioning into more adult roles in 2016. That year, she appeared in the History channel’s miniseries, Roots were she played Missy Waller. However, her transition from Disney has seemed to be rather slow. Fans were excited when she booked the part of Christa Carlyle in Netflix’s mockumentary television series American Vandal, but her part didn’t make it past the first season of the show.

While the actress remains active on social media, it appears she is taking an unofficial break from the industry. Fingers crossed she gets back in the saddle ASAP!

Boyfriend

G Hannelius is already building up her dating history. Her first relationship to come to media light was with a certain Jack Chaite. Unlike, G, Jack isn’t in the entertainment industry. The duo began dating in late 2015 and Chiate immediately became popular among G’s fans when photos of their homecoming date surfaced online.

The couple would soon go Instagram official and begin sharing cute snaps of themselves. G brought him along to one of the red carpet events in support of her hit show, Dog with a Blog. In 2017 when Jack graduated from Calabasas High School, Hannelius tagged along as his Prom date.

However, things seemed to have gone sour after that Prom photo as it became the last photo they posted of each other. While Jack went ahead to enroll at USC as part of the class of 2021, Hannelius went ahead with her career.
