Do you want to know something cool about Hayden Panettiere’s height? It was actually the conversation starter when she met her fiancee, Wladimir Klitschko. She told Ellen on the Ellen DeGeneres show, ‘ I’m small, but he’s large, that’s how we met. I said, ‘You’re huge.’ He said, ‘You’re tiny.’

The star currently weighs 53 kilograms, she has an athletic build and maintains a healthy lifestyle. On the topic of her body constantly being scrutinized, the star had some insightful words to stay.

‘ There is a lot of pressure that comes with it. But there’s also the pressure to be a good role model for women and have a normal, healthy body but I love being my height and size, and representing a normal girl and a different body type.’

She was not always this confident about her body though, Hayden struggled with body dysmorphia as a teenager. She grew up in the spotlight and we all know that the media can be cruelly critical, well a young Hayden was shocked when she opened a magazine to find the word ‘cellulite’ scrawled across her 16 year old legs.

She told Women’s Health Magazine, ‘ I was mortified. It gave me such body dysmorphia for so long, but I remember reminding myself that beauty is an opinion, not a fact, and it has always made me feel better.’

For those of you that do not know what body dysmorphia is, Mayo clinic has a straightforward description right here, ‘ Body dysmorphic disorder is a type of chronic mental illness in which you can’t stop thinking about a flaw with your appearance. Treatment of body dysmorphic disorder may include medication and cognitive behavioral therapy.’

On to more recent news, when the star was pregnant with her first child she packed on 40 pounds of weight, but hard work coupled with a good diet enabled her to shed all that weight. Since then she has not hesitated to show off her amazing post baby body.
