From infancy, Morgan was sent to live with his grandmother in Charleston, Mississippi, and it didn’t end there, he continued moving around to different places, including Greenwood, Mississippi and Gary, Indiana, as well as Chicago.

He equally won a Screen Actors Guild Award for the same role and walked away with a Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Actor for his role in Driving Miss Daisy.
