Humour isn’t a gift everyone’s blessed with naturally; some through a lot of practice eventually master the art while some people are simply gifted – Ilana Becker falls into the latter category.

Biography

Born on the 22^nd of October 2017, in Buck’s County, Pennsylvania, Ilana grew up in a close-knit Jewish home that was as much Jewish as it was typically American. Ilana’s father, Phil Becker, an ethics teacher and a lawyer grew up on the Lower East Side of New York and her mom, a practising nurse was raised in Brooklyn.

As a youngster, Ilana’s passion was for dance and at the age of 19, she started actively pursuing dancing as a professional career. Ilana graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University, she proceeded to the Lee Strasberg Theatre where she focused mainly on brushing up her acting skills.

As an accomplished theatre performer, Ilana Becker has featured in One, Two Whatever You Do… at the Fringe NYC, Laundry and Bourbon, FaceSpace, Henry Kissinger, The Kids Are Awake, Five Women Wearing the Same, Sam Shepard’s Chicago.

She has also starred in the movies Good Enough, Perfect Strange, and School of Rock. She appeared as Danielle on Bravo TV’s Odd Mom Out and Girl Code on MTV. She also recently guest starred in Season 4 of Orange Is the New Black. She has starred in the movies Future 38, Love Magical, Fish Bowl, and Owoto. She has co-hosted Date Night on AMC and has also played the lead on Meet The Upper Crust on Viacom, featuring as a guest star on Crashing – an upcoming show on HBO.

She has also featured in The Mysteries of Laura on NBC, Hunting Season on Vimeo, Alpha House on Amazon Studios, Odd Squad on PBS, I Just Want My Pants Back on MTV. Ilana has also made appearances in Vamps, NY 70, and Scaredy Camp.

Beyond mainstream acting and comedy, Ilana Becker also delved into commercials with her appearance in a Viberzi commercial alongside Alison Becker. In the commercial, Ilana Becker played the role of a troubled woman who was constantly plagued with stomach aches. Viberzi is a prescription drug used to treat IBS-D (otherwise known as irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea). the drug is designed to manage diarrhoea and abdominal pain.

Her performance on the commercial gained her a lot of commendation because of the manner in which she succeeded in bringing a certain kind of charm and poise to a role that would ordinarily pass for been plain and downright boring. It’s not every day that you find a lady in a commercial about drugs for irritable bowel make it look downright sexy.

It’s not every day that you find a beautiful accomplished young woman like Ilana Becker single and searching. For a long time, there was a lot of speculation about her relationship status, but she finally broke the ice when she revealed that she was in a relationship. She initially gave sketchy information about the lucky guy, simply revealing that he owns a coffee shop downtown.

Ilana on the 29th November 2017, flashed a beautiful diamond engagement ring on her ring finger in an Instagram post with her soon to be husband Scott Price.

Family

One of the traits of the average Jew is their unflinching devotion to family life. Ilana’s case is no different. Her father’s name is Phil Becker. Though she has kept her family details and information private, she does not hesitate to gush about her love for her little nephew Zachy who was diagnosed with a rare degenerative bone marrow disease.
