Biography

Kasey was born on 10 April 1980. His full name is Kasey Kenneth Kahne born in Enumclaw, Washington, United States. His parents are Kelly Kahne and Tammy Kahne. He has a birth sign of Aries. A professional stock car racing driver, Kasey has been active on the racing scene since the early 2000’s, starting his career with NASCAR in 2004 and going on to score his first career Sprint Cup victory the next year. In the years that followed, he won more races, boosting his reputation and in 2008, he went on to win the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

He has run as a part-time racer in the Xfinity Series. In a career spanning well over a decade and still going strong, Kasey Kahne has managed to establish himself as one of the prominent players of stock car racing, winning multiple awards. He has run over 700 races during his professional career and that figure rises steadily. Kasey also owns a race team, Kasey Kahne Racing, which competes in the World of Outlaws series.

Over the course of his career, Kahne Kahne has won the Cup Series 18 times, a trophy haul that includes three Coca-Cola 600s in 2006, 2008 and 2012, and the Brickyard 400 in 2017. He won the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Rookie of the Year in 2004.

Off-track, he is also into charity ventures and a member of the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.

Family

Kasey was born into a family with a bit of racing history, his father, Kelly Kahne, owned race cars and also had an outfit that serviced race cars. The first sprint car used by Kasey was owned by his dad. His mother Tammy Kahne currently manages the Kasey Kahne Fan Club and the Klub Kahne merchandise store.

Kasey’s younger brother, Kale, and his cousins Willie and Kole also have amateur experience in racing. Kacey’s older sister Shanon oversees the Kasey Kahne Foundation, which was set up to help very ill children and their families.

At the moment, the talented and good-looking race car driver is not married. However, Kasey is dating his longtime girlfriend, Samantha Sheets. A little insight on what we know of his beautiful girlfriend reveals that she was born on 27 June 1991 to parents, John and Letitia Sheets. Her parents are residents of Concord, NVC but are originally from Westville, Indiana. For her education, she attended the University of North Carolina. Samantha also has a younger brother named Colby Sheets.

Her mother, Letitia Sheets has links with the racing world just like Kasey, having served as the Director of Diversity and Special Projects at NASCAR for almost a decade. Mrs Sheets has also been involved in working with VME-IMG, overseeing Administrative and Special Projects. This was after her stints as National Managing Director at Speedway Motorsports and Director of Business Affairs at IMG.

On the 13th of October 2015, via a Twitter message, Samantha and Kasey announced the arrival of their son named Tanner Lee Kahne.

Sometime in mid-2008, there was a publication in a U.K based sports magazine, SportsPro which reported a rumour that Kasey Kahne is gay. One of the reasons for these insinuations was because of his handsome, boyish looks coupled with the fact that at the time, there were no openly gay drivers.
