Minka Kelly is an American actress mostly known for her roles on Friday Night Lights, Charlie’s Angels and Almost Human. She was born on the 24th of June, 1980 in Los Angeles, California, to Rick Dufay – a musician and the late Maureen Kelly.

After graduating from Valley High School, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Minka got a job as a receptionist at a surgeon’s office. She later decided to attend school for a year in order to become a surgeon’s assistant, after which she got a job as a scrub technician. Even with the job, she still kept on auditioning for film and television roles.

She eventually shot through obscurity and made her first appearance in the short film, Turbo Charged: Prelude for 2 Fast 2 Furious in 2003. She then appeared in several television shows like Entourage, Drake and Josh and American Dreams.

In 2006, Minka Kelly got cast on the NBC Drama series Friday Night Lights where she played a high school student and cheerleader. She was highly praised for her performance on the show. In 2008, she appeared in the comedy series Mad Love and later landed the role of a street racer in the Charlie’s Angels reboot of 2010. In 2017, the actress became a part of the DC Universe live-action web television series Titans.
