Hollywood actress, producer and singer Jennette McCurdy is a popular face from the Nickelodeon TV series iCarly in which she plays Sam Puckett. The actress was also featured in the extension of the TV series titled Sam & Cat. As a singer, Jennette is into country music.

The actress and singer was raised in Garden Grove, California although she was born in Long Beach California on June 26, 1992, and her full name is Jennette Michelle Faye McCurdy. Her family is of English, Dutch, French, Italian and Irish ancestry. She is the only girl child born to her parents and has 3 older brothers named Marcus, Scott and Dustin. Her interest in acting was prompted when she watched Harrison Ford in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and at age 8, she started her acting career on MAD tv.

In 2003, she was featured in the movie Hollywood Homicide alongside star actor whom she adores. The actress got her first nomination for best performance in TV series in 2005 for her role as Hailey Campos in the film Strong Medicine.
