The television host was born on the 1st day of November in the year 1972 in Evergreen Park Illinois, Chicago, the United States of America into a working-class Roman Catholic Christian faith family of six. She had three sisters named Lynette, Joanne, and Amy while popular and talented actress is her cousin.

Her family has a trace of Irish, German and Polish ancestry. Her father, Dan McCarthy, was a steel mill foreman while her mother, Linda McCarthy, was a courtroom custodian. Jenny and her siblings had their growing up in the West Elsdon neighbourhood of Chicago under the aegis of her hardworking parents. She schooled at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School where she graduated from before spending two years at Southern Illinois University. Due to lack of finances to see her through college, she had to drop out of school and this in a way started her career with “Playboy Magazine.”

Quitting school and not having anything to do, Jenny Mccarthy landed a modelling contract with the adult rated “Playboy Magazine” in 1993. She was offered an irresistible $20,000 to pose nude for their October 1993 issue of the magazine to which she accepted and was Miss October 1993 and later “Playmate of the year” in 1994. Her gig with the x-rated magazine opened doors of financial stability for her.

Later on, she began to give more attention to other areas of entertainment and this saw her landing some roles on television shows and some minor acting roles. She started a co-host of several television shows which included MTV game show called “Singled Out,” ABC talk show “The View,” “Dirty, Sexy Funny with Jenny McCarthy.

Following this, she got an opportunity to be featured in sitcoms and movies like Basketball, Scream 3, Santa Bay, Diamonds, Scary Movie 3, Jenny and The Drew Carey Show. In doing all these, she didn’t neglect her career in modelling as she was combining all these known sources of income to make ends meet.

Their marriage saw to the birth of a son named Evan Joseph Asher. But sadly, they divorced in 2005 and Jenny continued with her life and career briefly before love found her again.

Later in the same year, she got romantically involved with another actor – Jim Carrey but kept the relationship a secret till 2006. The two lovers went on to live together for some time till 2010 before they announced their split up.

After this second breakup came Donnie Wahlberg who fell in love with Jenny Mccarthy genuinely. They got engaged in April 2014 and got married 31st August 2014. Jenny is actually the second wife of Donnie. They have been living together since then and have no rumours of divorce or marital squabbles trailing them.
