The actress and singer was born Jessica Suzanne Lowndes on November 08, 1988 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was there that she was brought up by her parents Dan Lownes who was a piano teacher. Of English, Scottish and Irish descent, the actress also has a sister, Jacqueline Lowndes.

Since she was a little girl, Lowndes has not only loved music, but she also loved singing and dancing. She began singing much earlier but it was until the age of 5 that she began playing the piano. That was also the period that she started playing the guitar. She then began writing her songs when she was 9 years old.

For her education, she went to Pacific Academy, a private school in Surrey. After she was done with her high school education, Jessica moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Before then, however, she had produced her first extended plays when she was 16.

Her first role as an actress came in 2005 when she appeared in the TV show Masters of Horror as Peggy in the episode “Dance of the Dead”. Her next role came in Saving Milly as Andrea Kondracke also in 2005.

In 2006, she got to appear as Becky in Alice, I Think and then as Lisa in To Have and to Hold, before appearing as Eve in Kyle XY. Although she has enjoyed what can be described as a successful career thus far, she does not have any awards to show for her efforts. Instead, she has been nominated for the Canadian Screen Awards for A Father’s Nightmare (2012) and Prism Awards for 90210 (2008).
