Jessica Leigh Stroup was born on October 23, 1986, in Anderson, South Carolina. She was raised with her brother in Charlotte, North Carolina by their parents Don and Judith Stroup. She attended the Providence High School and graduated in 2004, before earning a full scholarship to University of Georgia which she declined in order to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She is an American actress, model and comedian who is best friends with fellow actress . She loves sports especially volleyball which she played actively during her high school days.

The teenage talent made her choice of career when she was advised by her mother to go into modeling which led her to start her modeling career at the age of fifteen before she delved into acting. Her first appearance as an actress was in the Nickelodeon teen series Unfabulous in the year 2005. In 2006, she was in several films and television series such as; Pray for Morning, Broken, Girlfriends, Zoe 101, and so many others.

She is referred to as Scream Queen, having been in several horror movies such as Vampire Bats (2005), Left in Darkness (2006), Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007), Prom Night (2008), and others. She played the character Amber, the female lead in the film Hills Have Eyes 2, and her performance there earned her more recognition in the industry. Amnd even though she was blonde in the movie, she is a natural brunette. Despite the negative reviews the movie got, it went ahead to become a hit and grossed over $67 million worldwide.

In 2008, Jessica Stroup played the role of Erin Silver, David Silver’s younger sister in the American series 90210. Due to her performance in this series, she won the Sparkling Award at the Young Hollywood Awards in 2010. She voiced some characters in two episodes of the animated sitcom Family Guy in 2011. The actress played the role of Tracy in the film Ted in 2012. She starred as Max, an NYPD cop in the second season of The Following. She also joined Iron Fist starting from 2017.

It was on the set of this series that he met Jessica Stroup and they started dating in 2008.

The duo were having an awesome relationship as they were always seen hanging out and appearing in events together, in as much as we would have wanted this relationship to last and probably lead to something better, because they were so good together, but it didn’t go as expected because two years later it was heard that they had broken up, and Dustin confirmed it when he admitted being single on his Instagram page.
