The talented sportscaster was born in Rockdale County, Conyers to be precise, in Georgia, United States of America. Born on July 27, 1972, she was christened Tiffany Arrington. Jill was raised alongside her sister, Heather Joy Arrington, by their parents Mary Jane Odum and Rick Arrington. Her paternal grandparents were Hazel and Richard Arrington. The TV personality is of white ethnicity and has an American nationality.

There are no official records detailing where she had both her elementary and high school education. Jill was admitted into the prestigious University of Miami, graduating in 1994 with a Broadcast Journalism degree having majored in both Political Science and Journalism. During her days in the university, she was a member of the school’s tennis team and a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.

The American-born sportscaster ventured into the world of broadcasting as a producer on Main Floor which was a national entertainment show at the time. After spending five years on Main Floor, Arrington worked for a year producing a popular reality TV show known as Real TV.
