Jon Risinger is an American graphic designer, art director, TV show producer, writer, and actor. He is the art director for the media and entertainment company, Rooster Teeth Productions. In his capacity as art director and graphic designer, he has been the one behind some of the more popular logos and T-shirts that can be found in Rooster Teeth’s store.

One of his popular designs is the logo for the video game and entertainment news channel, on YouTube, Funhaus. Risinger has produced or appeared in several TV series and shorts including Rooster Teeth Productions’ On the Spot and Sugar Pine 7 among others. He has also performed as a voice actor on quite a few shows.

Jon Risinger’s Biography (Age)

Jon Risinger was born on September 12, 1984. He grew up in California but relocated to Austin, Texas in his late twenties. He began working with Rooster Teeth Productions in August 2012. Since then he has worked on a host of TV and web series with the team. He has been the producer of over 50 episodes of the On the Spot show. These episodes span between 2014 and 2018 and he executive produced one of the On the Spot episodes in 2018 titled The One with 5 Jons.

Not only has he produced On the Spot shows, but Jon Risinger has also hosted several dozens of them. Between 2015 and 2017, he featured in ten episodes of the Rooster Teeth Shorts TV series including March Madness (2017), Double Standards (2016) and Dog Killer (2016). Between 2014 and 2016, he lent his voice to characters in the web-based anime series, RWBY such as Atlas Soldier in the Painting the Town episode in 2014 and the Paramedic in the End of the Beginning episode in 2016.

Jon Risinger would later contribute to the illustrations and art direction of the television Mini-series Ten Little Roosters’ episode titled And Then There Were Two & One.

As a writer, Risinger has written several episodes of the On the Spot game show. In 2014, he wrote the Team Gus vs. Team Buttz, Team Buttz vs CSC, Team CSC vs Team R&R Connection, Team CSC vs Team Free Willy and Team Disabled vs Team Hotica episodes of the show.

In 2015, he produced the Funhaus Takes on the Fart Whisperer and Hogwarts, My Bag of Emotions, Danny LaBido, Raw Bread, The Cookie Hoover, Zach Anner Goes to Mars, I’m Your Host, Joel Heyman, Ray Narvaez Jr & The White Girl Challenge and Jeff Goldblum Finds a Way episodes of the On the Spot show.

As an actor and host, Jon Risinger has appeared in a host of other Rooster Teeth shows. Between 2015 and 2016, he appeared in 4 episodes of the Million Dollar But…. series. These episodes were Birthday Sex & Negativity in 2015, Sudden Nudity & Permanent parachutes in 2015, Hunted by Linebackers in 2016 and Girls vs Ninjas in 2016.

He has also voiced for Harrison’s Dad character in Parent’s Day episode of the TV series, Camp Camp in 2017. That same year, he lent his voice to the Jean Paul character in the Save the Princess episode of the series, Jean Paul.

Jon Risinger was the still photographer on the set of Rooster Teeth Production’s feature film, Lazer Team in 2015. He is also the host of the Rooster Teeth show, Enjoy the Show. On Enjoy the Show, new films are reviewed and analyzed. In 2016, Risinger appeared in the documentary, The Meme Machine: What Happens When the Internet Chooses You. In 2016, he appeared in 2 episodes of the comedy series, Immersion.

Divorce, Wife, and Kids

Fans of Jon Risinger are very much interested in his private life in the same vein as his career. Jon Risinger has enjoyed married life once before but unfortunately, his marriage ended in divorce. In 2006, he tied the knot with his girlfriend Kathy Risinger, an artist.

As seen on her Twitter bio, Kathy above all else loves coffee, wine, and beer. She also describes herself as a forgiveness advocate. Their marriage lasted for over a little over a decade before ending in divorce in 2015. Together the couple had two kids, both daughters.
