Although she has become famous as Judy Geeson, it was as Judith Amanda Geeson that she was born in Arundel, Sussex, England. The actress came into this world on the 10th of September 1948 and she is one of the two children born to her parents. Due to the nature of her father’s job, Judy’s family moved to London when she was 10 years old. There, she completed her basic education.

Later on, she was enrolled at the Corona Stage Academy where she was trained to be an actress. While she was there, Geeson featured in several stage productions organized by the school.

Career

Not long after her graduation, Judy Geeson made her first film appearance in 1963, playing the role of Jane in Wings of Mystery. Before then, she made her TV debut in 1961 with a guest role in Dixon of Dock Green. Her wonderful performances made way for Judy to earn bigger roles subsequently.

In the late ‘60s, she was seen in To Sir, With Love, Prudence and the Pill, Three Into Two Won’t Go, and Two Gentlemen Sharing.
