Being abandoned by one’s father as a child and raised by a mother who prefers drinking to spending time with her child is bad enough, but add that to being pregnant at an early age out of wedlock, without the support of family members and you will wonder how many teenagers could handle that. Kailyn Lowry did not just handle this but she went ahead to carter for her three sons and was also able to face all the challenges that come with being a teen mom, a public figure, a great writer and also the pressure of failed relationships that leaves you with kids.

In Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Kailyn Rae Lowry was born on the 14th of March 1992. She grew up in Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania with her mother Suzi Irwin, as her father left the family when she was just six months old. Lowry would, however, go on to graduate from Delaware State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication in 2017. Today, Kailyn Lowry is a TV personality, author and public speaker.
She first joined the reality show 16 and Pregnant in its second season after she was impregnated at the age of seventeen by Jonathan ‘Jo’ Rivera who was her boyfriend at the time – in 2009. She was featured in the second season of Teen Mom after she gave birth to their son Isaac in 2010.
When Kailyn was pregnant with Isaac, her mother wasn’t in support of her having the child so she had to move in with Jo’s family. It was while getting ready to move that she saw 16 and Pregnant on television and she applied and get in. Later in 2011, she got in a relationship with Javi Marroquin which led to an engagement and then a marriage on September 21, 2013.
The couple had a son together, however, the marriage didn’t last for so long because she filed for divorce two years later, in December 2015 which was finalized on October 23, 2016. After the divorce, they were given 50/50 custody of their child. They got into Marriage Boot Camp, and according to Kailyn, she was there to learn how to handle co-parenting.
Other than reality shows, the Teen Mom is also a great writer, and there are many books to her credit. Her first book, Pride Over Pity, is a memoir that revealed so many things that weren’t known about her and was published on April 17, 2014. She also authored Hustle and Heart, and her children’s book, Love is Bubblegum, which attracted a lot of criticism from fans who said she knows nothing about love because of the kind of relationship she had with Javi Marroquin.

Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez had been longtime friends but they started living together after she and Javi got divorced. It was while living with him that she got pregnant with her third child but he cheated on her while she was pregnant, they parted ways and he wasn’t there when she gave birth to their son on the 5th of August 2017. Chris Lopez saw their son for the first time on August 5, 2018, when he visited them on the child’s first birthday party.
Although we are not so sure, there are rumors that they are back together and are trying to work out a relationship between them. But however true this is, we don’t know yet because nothing has been confirmed from either of them.

The Teen Mom2 star hasn’t just been in relationships with men; she and Dominique Potter had a thing or two although the author didn’t make this open to the public. She only maintained that they were just friends. According to Dom, she was ready to go public with what they had but Lowry wasn’t. Kailyn on her part claimed she needed to focus more on her children and wasn’t sure of the relationship. They didn’t last long together before the relationship ended with Dominique putting their split down to trust issues.
It was said that while they were still together, Kailyn hooked up with her ex-husband and Dominique was aware. All these and so many other issues ensured that the affair didn’t last long with both parties throwing tantrums at each other in public. After the breakup, Kailyn made a confession saying that she regretted some decisions she had made, especially in her relationship with Dominique Potter because she realized that Dom took what they had very serious.

Lux Russel, her third child, was born on August 5, 2017, and was fathered by Chris Lopez. Kailyn has said she would love to have a fourth child but not a fourth baby daddy.
