The actress born as Kate Del Castillo Negrete Trillo on the 23rd of October 1972 in the City of Mexico. Kate was born to Kate Trillo and her husband Eric del Castillo who was a veteran actor well-known in Mexican Cinema and soap opera. The amazing actress developed an interest in the showbiz from a very young age which led her to participate in several shows and theatre performances during high school. She possesses a dual nationality of Mexico and American while she belongs to the white ethnicity.

Professional Career

Kate’s career started as early as 1978 when she was featured in the movie called The Last Escape. She garnered wide popularity in 1991 following her role in the telenovela series titled Muchachitas. The series was aired on several Latin American countries and she also starred in other Telemundo network series such as La Reina del Sur and series Dueños del Paraíso.
