Born Kellie Noelle Martin on the 16th day of October 1975, the actress was born to Riverside, California natives – Doug Martin and his wife, Debbie Martin. Her father is a departmental store buyer and retail executive while her mother is a kindergarten school teacher. She holds an American nationality and belongs to the white ethnicity.

Growing up, Kellie spent her early years in Riverside, California where she completed her basic education. Upon graduation, she enrolled at Yale University where she acquired a bachelor in theatre. While there, she featured in several plays and drama put up by the school. After she left school, the actress moved to Los Angeles in a bid to get more acting opportunities.

Career

Although Kellie Martin has become a prominent actress in the American movie industry, her acting dates back to when she was 7 years old. At the time, she was introduced by her aunt to actor Michael Landon who hired her aunt as a nanny. As a result, Michael offered Kellie a guest role on his TV show, Father Murphy in 1982. Two years later, she also appeared in an episode of Highway to Heaven. After that, she scored minor roles in Wonderful World of Disney, Dallas, Life with Lucy, Potato Head Kids, The Hogan Family, Thirtysomething, and Secret Witnesses, etc.

Her first major role came in 1988 when she joined the cast of the animated series, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo where she voiced the character of Daphne Blake from 1988 to 1991. Also, from 1991 to 1995, the actress voiced the character of Molly Tazmanian Devil in Taz-Mania.

She landed her first lead role in the TV series, Life Goes On where she played the lead role of Rebecca Thatcher from 1989 to 1993. The following year, she was cast in Christy where she played as Christy Huddleston from 1994 to 1995. Later on, she was seen in the medical drama series, ER from 1998 to 2000.

Since the early 2000s, Martin has been featuring in Hallmark Channel productions including the Mystery Woman franchise and Hailey Dean Mystery where she has been playing as Hailey Dean to date.

Keith, as he is popularly called, was born in Polson, Montana on the 2nd day of May 1974. He is an alumnus of Yale University where he acquired a degree in ethics, politics, and economics. After his graduation, he also got his Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School in 1999.

The couple met each other several years ago while at Yale University. Seeing the connection between them, they ignited a romantic relationship which has culminated into living happily ever after. The couple walked down the aisle in 1999 and their wedding was held in Polson, Montana on the 15th day of May.

Currently married for two decades and counting, their marriage has produced two adorable children, daughters named Olivia James Christian and Margaret Heather Christian. Their first daughter, Margaret was born in November 2006 while Olivia followed ten years later in February 2016.
