It would appear that English actress Kerry Ingram has succeeded in proving to the world that life challenges can be surmounted through sheer dedication and hard work. She has made a success of her career in acting despite being a sufferer of a kind of osteogenesis incompleteness which in a layman’s language means a disease of the bones. Her early education was accomplished in many institutions, she started with St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School located in Bracknell, Berkshire, before moving over to Charters School in Sunningdale where she spent one year, from 2010 to 2011. Acting Career

According to the available records, her first television appearance was accomplished on the set of Wolf Hall which cast her as Alice Williamson and her debut movie came on the set of Robin Hood as Village Child in 2010. Her role in Matilda – the Musical of the Royal Shakespeare Company came in November 2010 in Stratford-upon-Avon, the role lasted till January 2011. Kerry Ingram was the sole original Matilda who was transferred to the West End cast where she had to share the part with three other female actors at the Cambridge Theatre. After she left the show in April 2012, she bagged an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Soon after Matilda, she was on the set of Tom Hooper’s movie adaptation of Les Miserables where she was cast in a minor role.

Her big break came on the set of HBO’s fantasy TV series Game of Thrones where she portrayed the character of Shireen Baratheon from 2013 to 2015, starting from the 3rd season and terminating in the 5th season. Kerry was the queen of Years who crooned “The Rings of Akhaten along with Allan Clayton at the Doctor Who Prom. She appeared in other productions like; Free Rein which cast her in the role of Becky from 2015 till date, she portrayed Hilde in Barbarians Rising in 2016 and then, 2010 saw her on the set of Burke and Hare as Street child. She made a comeback to Live theatre on Animalphabet – a musical where she portrayed Metro the Gnome.

Kerry Ingram’s mum has been identified as Sally Ingram who is of Maltese origin. Her dad is Dereck Ingram, she currently resides with her mum and siblings in Warfield. Although we don’t have enough information on her siblings, a couple of them have been identified as Francis Ingram (younger brother) and Rachel Ann Ingram (younger sister).
