After what seemed like a drought of roles in 2017, Kiki broke barriers with her groundbreaking role as Tish Rivers in If Beale Street Could Talk. The film didn’t just attract more fans to her side, it equally ushered in prestigious award nominations from the right places. Hot on the heels of her 2018 success, Kiki took up roles lined up for 2019. Some of her recent projects include Native Son (as Bessie), Captive State (as Carrie) and the Luca Guadagnino-directed short film – Untitled Luca Guadagnino Project.
