Liu Tao is a popular Chinese actress known for her roles in a wide range of Chinese television series. She has also appeared in a couple of movies both locally and internationally. In addition to her acting talent, she is a stunner and also has a great voice. She was nominated as the year’s most attractive actress in 2004.

As a singer, Liu Tao is the voice behind many song playbacks in the films she has starred in. Some of those songs include The Feeling of Home in Ode to Joy 2, Tears of Love in Dali Princess, Fall in Love with You in Madame White Snake and Only Need You in My Fair Princess III. Liu Tao’s Biography

Liu Tao was born on July 12, 1978, in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China, the most populated Asian country. The bio-data of her parents are not known, neither is there any information on whether she had or has siblings. Nothing is known about her family status when she was born. It is also not known where she grew up or had her primary and secondary school education. However, she obtained a degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in law, even though the year of her admission and graduation is not known.

From the foregoing, an onlooker may conclude that Liu Tao prefers to keep her life private and away from prying eyes. Upon graduation, the actress never practiced her profession (law), but rather, she served in the army for a while. She was a member of the entertainment section of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) which is the armed forces of China and includes the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, and the Strategic Support Force.

She soon left the army to work in broadcast media where she was involved in commercials. Her commercials were very impressive and soon caught the attention of television producers who decided to give her a shot in their series and movies as a professional actress. She was cast in her first television series in 2000. The film was titled Jiu Ji Fan Guan and she played the role of Chu Chu. Her debut was not her breakthrough film, however, that came three years later when she starred in the television show My Fair Princess III as Mu Sha. The movie was the third sequel to the original series My Fair Princess.

In the same year, she also starred in two other television shows that further brought her to the limelight. The first was Demi-Gods where she played A Zhu and then Semi-Devils. Six years later, Liu Tao bagged her first antagonist role in the television series Da Li Princess. Her next critically acclaimed series was Mazu which was a huge success. It was so successful that it won the Outstanding Television Series’ award at the China TV Golden Eagle Award.

Other movies to her credit include To Elderly With Love (2013), Nirvana in Fire (2015), Legend of Mi Yue (2015), Ode to Joy (2016). Being a talented and hardworking actress does have its perks, which include the awards. Liu has been nominated for various award categories in China and has won a plethora of them. For her role in the 2013 melodrama, To Elderly With Love, she won the Best Actress award at the China TV Golden Eagle Award and the Best Performing Arts Award at the China Golden Eagle TV Arts Festival. In this movie, she delivered the role of a career woman who was able to fuse work and family duties.

Asides television series, she has also starred in a couple of movies some of which include the action thriller, The Foreigner (2017) and the crime thriller Peace Breaker (2017). Liu Tao has reached great heights in the Chinese movie industry and is a force to reckon with in China and beyond.

 

Husband and the Family Life of the Chinese Actress

Liu Tao retains her family name although she is happily married to Wang Ke. The couple got married in 2008 in grand style and have been married ever since. It is not known when the couple started dating or when Wang proposed. Details about Wang such as when he was born, where he lived or attended school, are not known. It is also not known what his current occupation is.

Their marriage has had its ups and downs but they were able to wither the storm together. The couple currently shares two children, Wang Ziyan and Wang Zijing. Ziyan was born 6 months after her parent’s wedding, and in September 2009, Liu gave birth to Zijing.
