Élodie Yung was born on February 22, 1981, in Paris, France and she spent most of her growing up time in Seine-Saint-Denis in Le Bourget. The Parisian beauty is half Cambodian from her father’s side and half French from her mother’s side. There is no record of any sibling or her parent’s name. Her high school record is also not known; the only known information regarding her academics is her university education.

She studied Law at the University of La Sorbonne in Paris also called the University of Paris and had the dreams of becoming a Judge one day. She was featured as Isa in the movie Fragile(s) which premiered in 2007 and then starred alongside Clementine Celarie and Mhamed Arezski in the police drama series Les Bleus as Laura Maurier from 2006 to 2010.

In 2008, the French actress appeared in the movie Home Sweet Home as Marie-Jo and worked on an English action film and a television movie in 2009 as gang lord Tao in District 13: Ultimatum and as Su in Little Wenzhou.

Élodie Yung went on to star in major film ventures such as Operation Casablanca (2010), Let Her (2010), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), 10 Things I Hate About Life (2014), Still (2014), Believe (2014), and Narcopolis (2015).

Her breakthrough year in her acting career would be 2016 which she started with her role as the goddess Hathor in the blockbuster film Gods of Egypt. Following that, Élodie Yung guest starred as Rizpah in Of Kings and Prophets.
